Hello from the beautiful Cayman Islands!
My next hotel review is on the Ritz Carlton on 7 Mile Beach, here on Grand Cayman.

I was blessed with an early "birthday staycation" at the Ritz and I loved EVERY second of it. When I first walked into the beautiful lobby, I was greeted with a package of chocolate truffle-like treats. I checked in, received my room card and was escorted through the hotel by the lovely concierge.
I'm not going to give all of the descriptive details of the hotel because I made SURE to get video footage of it that you can see in my video review below.
After walking through the art gallery bridge from the hotel lobby to the guest rooms,
I finally reached my room on the penthouse floor! I walked into a huge room and was delighted to see a small birthday cake shaped like a castle and a card from the Ritz, wishing me a happy birthday.
I enjoyed dinner at one of the hotel restaurants, Seven, and let me tell you...that food was SO GOOD. I probably gained 20lbs during my stay there lol.
The next morning, I ordered room service breakfast. Not only was it a lovely food presentation, but the fruit was so fresh! I was also shocked to be provided nutritional information when I requested it. This is MAJOR for those of us living with diabetes because the more accurate nutritional information we have, the more accurate we can dose our medication. So for all my diabetics reading this, the Ritz gets my diabetes-friendly certification lol.
If you have the opportunity to stay at this hotel during your visit to Grand Cayman, even if only for one night, DO IT! It is also totally worth it to get a room on a high floor. The view are out of this world! If you are unable to book a room, you must treat yourself to dinner at Seven.
I do want to point out that I stayed at this beautiful hotel the week prior to renovations so a few things will be upgraded when you visit.
